SAE 100 R16S 2 Wire Features:
Recommended For: High pressure hydraulic oil lines
Temperature Operating Range: -40° F to +212° F
Cover Construction: Abrasion, ozone, and weather resistant synthetic rubber and meets flame resistant MSHA designation.
Tube Construction: Oil resistant synthetic rubber.
Reinforcement: Two high tensile steel wire braid.
Fittings for this Hose:
Use Standard/Braided Couplings or W Series Couplings with the SAE 100 R16S Hydraulic Hoses.
Standard or Braided Couplings are interchangeable to the U Style from Weatherhead. They are used to create a permanent and durable crimp that’s best for 1 wire and 2 wire hoses.
W Series or Bite to Wire Couplings are similar to Parker 43 Series. They are designed to bite through the hydraulic hose cover and into the wire braid for a more secure fit.
